This company, despite its undeniable progress, fails the challenge of vulnerability: not only because it is unable to generate meaning resources for a life that appears imperfect and fallible, but also because it proves inadequate in caring for and protecting the most vulnerable individuals: as if they were poorer in dignity and therefore expendable.
The project places the vulnerable condition of reality at the center, through physical and mental territories, illuminated outside of conventional spaces and habits, in order to converse differently about the profound nature of humanity. The goal is to consider vulnerability from a different perspective, to understand the multiplicity of emotions, choices, and tensions to which humans tend daily. To analyze fragility not only from an ethical and political point of view, but also from a formal and aesthetic experience.
In the most recent artistic production, there is a progressive detachment from the contemporary essence of art, in favor of an idealized contemporary, isolated, enclosed in the rooms of museums and galleries. An increasingly white cube contemporary made up of installations and performances.
It is time to imagine an action in total opposition, emphasizing the ethical and aesthetic resources of abandoned urban spaces (former prisons, former asylums, former hospitals…) to rehabilitate a potential experiential field, a meditative space in its clear nakedness, in which the participant can immerse themselves to listen to the vibrations of the pre-existing elements together with the sensitivity and energy of the CAC Communicating Artistic Organisms expressed by this unique and non-interchangeable project to submit the gaze to an emotional impact.
Everything suggests that the necessary rediscovery of human vulnerability, initiated by anthropological reflection and imposed by the epochal conjuncture, must play a central role, not marginal or accidental, in the re-composition of a humanistic and civil, economic, social, political, cultural project.
